Gold metallic fabric responds to light the way sequins do — it catches and reflects from multiple angles simultaneously — but with a smoother, more fluid quality that allows the fabric to drape and move rather than sitting stiffly against the body. This gold metallic halter midi is cut in a figure-hugging bodycon silhouette that follows the body's lines from the halter neckline through the hips, with a ruffle hem that adds movement and a playful, fashion-forward finish at the midi length. The result is a dress that reads as fully glamorous without the rigidity of heavily structured eveningwear — it moves with you through the night rather than working against you.

The halter neckline frames the shoulders and collarbone with clean, open lines, and the bodycon cut creates a sculpted, elongating silhouette that photographs exceptionally well under event and flash lighting. As a party gown, the gold reads as a warm, rich yellow-gold in photos — it catches light particularly well under indoor event lighting, making it an ideal choice for New Year's Eve, birthday parties, bachelorette events, cocktail receptions, and glamorous nights out where the dress needs to hold its own under any lighting condition. Available in sizes S, M, and L.

Features

  • Gold metallic fabric — luminous, light-catching, fluid drape
  • Halter neckline — clean, open, and shoulder-flattering
  • Bodycon midi cut — sculpted, elongating silhouette
  • Ruffle hem — movement and playful finish
  • Sizes: S, M, L

Styling Suggestions

Strappy gold heeled sandals and minimal jewelry let the metallic fabric carry the visual weight — the dress is the statement, so accessories should support rather than compete. A bold red lip and drop earrings shift this into full glamour territory for a New Year's Eve or black-tie-optional event. A small metallic clutch in gold or champagne completes the outfit without adding visual noise. The halter neckline works best with a strapless or adhesive bra — avoid visible straps that disrupt the clean lines of the neckline.

Fabric and Fit

The metallic fabric has a slight stretch that accommodates the bodycon fit without feeling restrictive during movement — you can dance, sit, and move freely without the dress pulling or shifting out of place. The dress runs true to size; the bodycon construction fits close to the body through the bust, waist, and hips. The ruffle hem sits at midi length — below the knee on most heights. The halter ties at the back of the neck and can be adjusted for a more secure or relaxed fit depending on preference.

Does the metallic fabric feel stiff or does it drape comfortably?

The metallic fabric has a fluid drape rather than a stiff construction — it moves with the body and doesn't feel rigid or uncomfortable during extended wear.

Does the gold metallic color photograph well under event lighting?

The gold reads as a warm, rich yellow-gold in photos — it catches light particularly well under indoor event and flash lighting, which makes it one of the most photogenic colorways for celebrations and parties.

Is this dress suitable for outdoor summer events or is it better for indoor settings?

The metallic fabric retains heat more than natural fibers, so it's best suited to indoor or evening outdoor settings — it's an ideal choice for air-conditioned venues, evening receptions, and nighttime events rather than daytime outdoor wear in warm weather.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.

Stepbrothers, Secrets, and Sizzling Heat
Format: Kindle
Twisted Lies by Roxy Collins is a wild ride through family secrets, amnesia, and a steamy stepbrother romance. When Kelly discovers her life is built on lies, she ends up tangled with three alpha stepbrothers and an assassin who once helped her through a heat. The tension? Off the charts! The heat is real, and the complications are messy in the best way. Full of twists, secrets, and fated mates? You'll be hooked from page one! Love omegaverse drama with a dash of taboo? This one's for you!

Good read
Format: Kindle
The book has some good twists and turns, but truthfully I was so confused on some things. It didn't have a good flow for me personally. Not sure if it's due to typos or using him/her wrongly, but I thought Kelly was both a guy and a girl. Actually I still don't know, and it made me incredibly frustrated. It would refer to Kelley as him or he, and then again in another part of the story as her she and sister. On to the next book, I hope there is some clarity and a smoother flow. This is a slow burn, and I just don't know how much I care for the Alphas yet. Idk if I recommend.
