Marin Four Corners 1 (Sword) Gravel Road Bike

Midweek commute or weekend adventures? A three day audax or a 12 month round the world tour? The Four Corners 1 now comes with a fresh 2x9 MicroShift Sword drivetrain offering improved reliability and a wider range of useable gears. The butted 4130 CroMo steel frame and fork are designed to be comfortable on rough roads but to also handle fully loaded touring and bike packing. We’ve included six bottle mounts, rack and fender eyelets, lowrider fork mounts, generous tire clearance and disc brakes to set you up for all conditions and all terrain.

Whatever you choose is no problem for the Marin Four Corners, our steel-framed explorer that’s as comfortable on the asphalt as it is in the dirt.
Life is about the journey, not the destination, and that's what the Four Corners is here for.

FIVE FRAME SIZES

The Four Corners is available in five frame sizes to fit riders 4’11 to 6’4” without compromise. For proper fit and bike handling sizes XS and S use 650B wheels, sizes M, L, and XL use 700C.

BOTTLE / GEAR MOUNTS

Fork leg bottle or accessory cage mounts on the base Four Corners, along with traditional front triangle bottle mounts (three on sizes M-XL, two on XS-S) provide up to six bottle cage mounts total.

TALL HEADTUBES

The Four Corners is built around a tall headtube, allowing for more frame carrying capacity (larger bags), great rider visibility for taking in the sights, as well as the ability to utilize the multiple positions on the drop bars for all-day comfort.

DISC BRAKES

Disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.

STEEL IS REAL

The Four Corners uses butted and formed Series 1 4130 CrMo frames specially tuned for loaded touring with upright geometry for comfortable and efficient all-day rides.

GENEROUS TIRE CLEARANCE

The Four Corners 1 can accommodate tires up to 45mm wide.

Dropper Post Compatible

The Four Corners offers a port on the lower part of the seat tube, allowing the installation of an aftermarket dropper post. Droppers are great at adding clearance when riding technical trails, or for simply putting a foot down while stopped at a light.

Happy pup. Worth it.
My dog loves this thing. It takes hardly any effort to launch the ball. Flick of the wrist kinda thing. The squeaky ball is her favorite but unfortunately you can't buy this brand of ball separately. It says compatible with any 2.5 inch ball but that's not true. We have a ton of Penn tennis balls and they are just slightly too big for this launcher. You can do it but it's a huge pain and hard to throw. Another issue is that when we first got it the handle didn't want to stay screwed together. After the first day of use and having to rescrew it together multiple times, the issue seems to have corrected itself? Either way, for the price with the comfy handle, very low effort throwing for big pay off, two balls included and the crazy excitement from my dog anytime we get near the thing. It's definitely worth it. I like it much better than the chuck it and stone random cheap brand we used to have. I'm going to try one of the balls recommended in the product pictures. I'll update if they work out.

Ergonomic and well made.
I have at least a half dozen ball launchers and this is the nicest one. As efficient as any of them and it feels the nicest in my hand. As long as you tighten the handle when you put it together, it will serve your puppy well.

Ball Launcher Poorly Made and Hard To Use, Save Your Money
This launcher was too long and thin to pick up the ball from the ground, I had to use my other hand to press down on it. The screw on handle was heavy and kept coming loose no matter how tight I made it, strain on the wrist to use. The ball holder end would often not let go of the ball when trying to launch it. I ended up putting it in the trash. I had two shorter Chuckit launchers that are much better made, will stick with them. I don't recommend this to anyone, save your money.
